WELCOME

Bhangra Empire is a coed team that was founded in January of 2006. Members of the team hail from all over the Bay Area including San Jose, Fremont, Union City, Berkeley, Danville, Pleasanton, Palo Alto, and San Francisco.

After gaining notoriety within the competitive bhangra circuit, on November 24th of 2009, Bhangra Empire had the honor of performing at the First State Dinner hosted by President Barack Obama and the First Lady, Michelle Obama. In 2010 Bhangra Empire was featured on the 5th season of  NBC’s hit show America’s Got Talent. On Tuesday June 22nd, Bhangra Empire made it’s debut on National Television with their first round audition in Portland. Please visit our AMERICA’S GOT TALENT page for more information.
