San FRANCISCO GIANTS GAME
Bhangra Empire had the honor of performing at the San Francisco Giants Game on August 8th, 2011. The 2010 World Series Champions took on the Pittsburgh Pirates in front of a capacity crowd of 41,000 supportive Giants fans. Bhangra Empire warmed up the crowd right before the first pitch, dancing to a medley of upbeat and energetic music including Jassi Sidhu's new hit song "Nai Reesa.” Baseball met bhangra, as Bhangra Empire danced alongside a Panda, tying in third baseman Pablo Sandoval’s nickname. Giants flags flew high, and "Fear The Beard" went up in the background during a vest drop that read "GO GIANTS."
Bhangra Empire Minis also performed outside of AT&T Park in Willie Mays Plaza, to welcome in all the fans. The Minis got the crowd excited to come in for the game as they showcased their young talent. Fans of both the SF Giants and Bhangra Empire were able to enjoy a great game and celebrate Indian culture all at the same time.
Thank you to all who came out! Go Giants!
