Bhangra Empire on the VIBC 2010 Poster

I was going through some old pictures the other day and came across a bunch of Bhangra Empire pictures. So I thought I would start a new ‘photo of the day’ section on my blog. You can also submit a picture to be the photo of the day here. Pictures don’t have to be of Bhangra Empire specifically, but should be related to bhangra somehow.

Anyways, this picture is of the VIBC 2010 poster. VIBC stands for Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration and has been one of the top competitions in North America for the past 5 or 6 years. The picture shows our ‘Canada’ vest drop performed at VIBC 2009. Check out the video of the performance here if you haven’t already. For more information on VIBC, check out their website.
