And finally, a new post! I know, it has been a pretty long time since my last one, but I guess summer brings out the vacation in all of us. Actually, work hasn’t been too crazy lately, and school is only one class (my last class). But I guess the majority of the extra time I have has been going into the wedding. Let’s just say, planning a wedding is ridiculous. I equate it to trying to come up with 10 different Empire routines, all at the same time. I don’t know how wedding planners do it, because I think planning just one is more than enough. On the Bhangra Empire front, our summer classes are in full effect and just about halfway through. We have 3 classes in Dublin, 2 classes in Fremont, and 1 class in San Jose. And all classes are completely full. We actually had to turn away people.

And now to the topic of my post. For years, I have gotten many emails and messages asking us about Bhangra Empire T-shirts. Well, with the help of B-Coalition, for the first time ever, Bhangra Empire T-Shirts are available online. B-Coalition (check out their website here) is a company based out of Vancouver that has released multiple designs representing South Asian culture. We are extremely proud to be collaborating with them and joining the likes of En Karma and Genuine Soundz with an exclusive t-shirt design.

The shirts aren’t the normal Empire logo, but are the same black and green Empire colors, with an updated logo which brings together the best of Bhangra Empire and B-Coalition. I personally like the added touch of including the “Bay Area, CA” in the shirt. When our team first started, we actually went by the name Bay Area Bhangra Empire. But as the years progressed, the Bay Area was dropped, just because most people ended up calling us Bhangra Empire. So bringing it back pretty much makes this a vintage Empire shirt (now you have to get one). And there are only a LIMITED amount of shirts available for sale so be sure to get yours before they run out. And the best part is: B-Coalition ships worldwide!
