Bhangra Empire at the Bruin Bhangra 2012 mixer this past weekend in Hollywood. The mixer is thrown by the competition committee and allows teams to hang out. It is also where the show order is determined. The black and green theme was awesome! (Empire colors)

Mr 2009, meet Miss 2012. I have a feeling you two will be very happy together. The Bruin Bhangra 2012 1st place trophy finds its way to Bhangra Empire headquarters.

Moments after Bhangra Empire is announced the winner of Bruin Bhangra 2012! After winning first place in 2009, we returned to the competition after 3 years to capture the trophy once again.

Bruin Bhangra week ends with a picture from Bruin Bhangra 2008, which includes members from Bhangra Empire, Sher Foundation, and NBA (National Bhangra Association).

Puneet shows off her rumaal after performing at Bruin Bhangra 2009. It looks like Sahiba has her eye on it there in the background. We used Sudesh Kumari’s Rumaalan as our jhummer song for Bruin that year.
