Here is an unfinished Bhangra Empire logo that was made earlier this year by Jigish Patel. We didn’t end up using it but I think it would make for a pretty cool bumper sticker.

We got to debut our brand new Bhangra Empire track suits this past weekend at Boston Bhangra. This picture was taken right after our rehearsal on Saturday. For those that like green will probably think they are awesome. Those that don’t, well, they probably won’t be too fond of them.

Bhangra Empire wins 2nd place at Boston Bhangra 2011! Not bad for a half new team! Very proud of all the new dancers. Thank you to Boston for making us feel at home for a 4th straight year.

Bhangra Empire reaches Boston and starts off the trip with a little sightseeing, as part of the team poses in front of Fenway Park. One of the funnest parts of competition weekend is being able to go a day early and just relax and check out the city.

So Boston Bhangra is in a few days and I thought I would provide an update and give some thoughts before the competition. Our last practice was on Tuesday.
